HEAVENLY HILLS LODGE

The Annual Meeting will be held at the Heavenly Hills Lodge (just 39 minutes from the Ohio River Bridge off I-65). The Lodge has all the comforts of home in the country with its own lake and forest surrounding it. You can sit on the large porch that wraps around the back of the Lodge facing the lake or you can swing in the swing hanging on the deck below the porch facing the lake. For those who like to venture out, Horseshoe Casino is not too far as are the Outlet Malls which are just down the highway. There are walking trails, etc. around the lake and into the forest with firepits located in the yard toward the lake. The basement area has a pool/pingpong table, piano, game tables, fireplace, etc. The upstairs area also has a fireplace and large meeting area, kitchen/dining area, two bedrooms (handicap accessible) on the main floor, four bedrooms upstairs with all bedrooms having their own bathrooms with showers. There are several couches that make out into beds as well as two vibrating recliners and two beanbag chairs that make out into a mattress bed. The Lodge will sleep up to 20 (more if we need to bring in blow-up beds). The cost to us for the weekend is just $700.00. Depending on how many attend, we will divide the cost of the Lodge to obtain the per attendee price. We are planning to have most or maybe all of our meals and our meeting/education at the Lodge and hopefully will finish around noon on Saturday so if there are those who want to venture out they can do so. We are also planning on each group being responsible for a meal. A notice will be sent to all members in December as to whether or not you plan to attend as we must know by January 1 so we can figure the per member cost for lodging in order to include in our next publication which has a January 10 deadline. Our next publication will have the registration information, lodging cost per person, meal assignments, etc. The publication is mailed on February 1.
